This cartoon probably represents the some of the foreign countries are looking at us in our current state of economy. Even though ours is falling apart we still feel it necessary to offer aid to other countries with money we dont have. I find this is satirical because, it is showing one of the biggest mistakes we make everyday in a fairly humorous way.
This picture represnts everything that is wrong with out current economy, and the way the people in charge are currently handling the situation. Many of these companies, are relying on the government to help them stay in buisness. Our government had to bailout all the large companies due to the failing economy. This is satire because it shows the governemnt not only bailed out the big companies but they also bailed out companies who did not need to be bailed out in the first place.
This is satire becuase its making fun of the fact that ever since Obama took office he has done nothing but use the constitution and congress to help achieve his personal goals. Something like, taking it apart and using the parts he likes and the rest gets omitted. Sort of like how he only works when he feels up to it, the rest of the time he is off playing golf, or on "vacation" with his family.
This is satire because it is saying that due to the expansion of the government they are over-stepping their boundries in certain area's that they have no business being in. This cartoon suggest's the government is now telling people how to be a parent. It is also making fun of some of the more worthless governemnt departments.
